Founded by Dave Hinshaw, a Puget Sound broker and multi-venture entrepreneur who builds every tool on his own businesses before ever pitching a client. If it doesn't work in the real world, it doesn't ship. I didn't start as a developer — I started as a broker with too many businesses and not enough hands. Between running real estate deals, an ice cream venture, a literacy nonprofit, and a handful of other ideas that wouldn't leave me alone, I needed tools that worked now, not tools that needed a six-month build cycle and a six-figure budget. So I taught myself to build them — with AI-assisted, no-code platforms like Lovable — and started shipping real, working apps across every one of my own ventures. Northbound Studio is that same approach, now available to you.
