Studio Ambira **Studio Ambira: Designing a connected business platform around people**
Studio Ambira’s own platform was designed to demonstrate the transformation it offers clients: bringing the website, customer journey, daily operations and AI assistance into one connected business environment.
Developed around Lovable and Supabase, with ChatGPT supporting development, the project uses a professional services business as its starting point. It combines a public-facing shopfront with an internal operating platform and a proposed client workspace.
The guiding objective is practical: help owners and their teams spend less time coordinating systems and more time serving clients, making decisions and growing the business.
**The challenge**
Small and medium businesses often manage sales, proposals, projects, finance and customer communication across separate tools. Each handover creates work: copying contact details, chasing approvals, updating spreadsheets and assembling information for management decisions.
Studio Ambira’s platform design addresses those handovers. The ambition is to carry information through the customer relationship, from first enquiry to delivery and ongoing support, while giving the owner a clearer view of the business.
It also serves as a demonstration environment for prospective clients, showing how connected workflows could operate in their own organisation.
**The public website and digital shopfront**
The website was designed to explain Studio Ambira’s services, establish credibility and turn interest into a useful conversation.
The content scope includes service information, founder credentials, insights, case studies and clear enquiry pathways. Case studies draw on ventures including ESG&I, ChatESG®, ImpactHUB™, All Natural Capital and FndrOS.
The positioning evolved during development to put people first: giving owners time back, helping teams work with greater confidence and making client experiences easier. AI and platform development provide the means to achieve those outcomes.
**The operating platform**
The core design connects the main functions of a professional services business.
| Module | Defined scope and purpose |
| ------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **CRM and sales** | Manage organisations, contacts, leads and opportunities, providing continuity from initial interest to a client relationship. |
| **Quotes and proposals** | Prepare scopes and commercial offers, connecting the proposed work with the sales opportunity and subsequent delivery. |
| **Invoicing** | Support billing within the customer journey, with payment and acceptance identified as workflow handover points. |
| **Project management** | Organise delivery through projects, tasks and progress tracking, giving teams visibility of work and responsibilities. |
| **Client portal and success** | Provide a client-facing workspace and support ongoing relationships beyond the initial sale. |
| **CMS** | Manage website content, including insights and case studies. |
| **Analytics and CEO scorecard** | Bring management information together to support oversight and prioritisation. |
| **Settings** | Provide a central place to configure the platform and its operation. |
These modules were specified as parts of a connected system, with shared information supporting the transition between functions.
**The customer workflow**
The intended workflow follows the full engagement:
**Lead → proposal → acceptance and payment → delivery → closeout**
This sequence shaped the automation requirements. Accepted work should move into delivery with its relevant context, while commercial and project information should inform management reporting.
The practical goal is to reduce repeated data entry and make the next action clearer for both the team and the client. The exact triggers, payment connections and exception handling require confirmation against the deployed build.
**AI assistance for the owner and team**
The AI scope extends across management, operations and service delivery.
An **AI daily brief** was requested to bring relevant business information into a concise view of priorities. It is intended to help the owner begin the day with a clearer understanding of what needs attention.
An **AI co-pilot** was included as a way to interact with business information and support everyday work. Its usefulness depends on the records, permissions and integrations available to it; the final tools and actions need verification.
The **CEO scorecard** was intended to give the founder a structured view of business performance, supported by insights that help translate information into decisions.
The design principle is to place AI where it can assist a real task, using business context rather than requiring staff to reconstruct that context in a separate conversation.
**The financial and CFO extension**
A later expansion introduced a financial management workspace intended to improve visibility of the business’s position and outlook.
The requested scope includes:
* A daily CFO brief.
* Cash, revenue, costs and runway dashboards.
* Budget-versus-actual reporting by category.
* Startup cost tracking.
* Editable 12-, 18- and 24-month forecasts.
* Automatic population from sales information and Xero, where connected.
The distinction between current performance and future expectations matters. The workspace was intended to support both, with editable assumptions allowing the owner to explore changes in revenue and costs.
Xero was identified as an integration requirement. Its live connection, synchronisation behaviour and data coverage have not been confirmed in the available build record.
**The People & Culture extension**
People & Culture was added to broaden the platform beyond sales and delivery.
The brief called for an Australian baseline, a modern approach to people management and AI-supported functionality. The purpose was to bring people-related work into the same operating environment as the rest of the business.
The specific HR workflows and implementation status require source-code confirmation. Australian compliance capability should be assessed against the actual features and maintained content before making claims about coverage.
**The AI-assisted Blueprint assessment tool**
One of the most distinctive extensions is a tool designed to support Studio Ambira’s **10-working-day Blueprint assessment**.
The requested workflow accepts client information in Word, Excel, PDF and PowerPoint formats, allowing an AI-assisted assessment to draw on existing business documents.
The specified deliverables are:
| Deliverable | Purpose |
| ------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Operating map** | Document current systems, subscriptions and administration costs. |
| **Redesigned workflows** | Define priority improvements to client and internal operating processes. |
| **Platform blueprint** | Describe the proposed platform for a four-week build. |
| **AI and data governance baseline** | Identify risks and controls in a practical risk register. |
| **Return model** | Separate base operational benefits from potential growth upside. |
| **Costed build plan and fixed quote** | Turn the assessment into a prioritised, commercially defined delivery proposal. |
The output requirement includes well-designed, co-branded presentations, report packs and build proposals.
This tool was specified to support a concrete assessment service. The assessment excludes generic strategy decks, unrelated vendor selection and building the platform during the assessment period.
Document ingestion, analysis and export functionality remain subject to implementation verification.
**Technology and integration approach**
The established foundation is Lovable and Supabase, with ChatGPT used to support development. The architectural intent is to connect customer-facing experiences with internal operations and AI-supported workflows.
Xero is the explicitly identified financial integration requirement. Other providers—including payment processing, email delivery, model access, scheduling and document processing—should be named only after inspecting the project configuration.
Similarly, the final authentication, access controls, storage arrangements and automation schedules need to be documented from the implemented system.
**The business value**
Studio Ambira’s own platform is designed to make its service proposition tangible.
For the founder, it offers the prospect of clearer priorities and better visibility across sales, delivery, people and finance. For the team, connected information can reduce coordination work. For clients, a consistent journey can make proposals, delivery and communication easier to navigate.
For Studio Ambira commercially, the project also establishes a foundation that can be adapted to other professional services businesses, with workflows shaped around each client’s needs.
**Delivery status and evidence**
The available history establishes the platform foundation and detailed scope, including the later CFO, People & Culture and Blueprint requests. A technical inspection is still needed to distinguish live features, partially configured modules and outstanding development.
No quantified time savings, subscription reductions, revenue gains or return on investment are claimed.
The case demonstrates the central idea behind Studio Ambira: designing a business platform around the people who use it, then connecting information, workflows and AI assistance to help them do their work.
